Course #2: Intermediate BLOGging
PreRequisite: Introductory BLOGging
This course picks up on the materials covered in the Introductory BLOGging class and builds upon that foundation. Completion of the Introductory BLOGging class is required.
Course Schedule: approx 30 minutes each section:
- Creating BLOG Articles - Review and Implementation. Be sure to bring at least one Article that is 300-400 words in length. We will place your Article in your BLOG.
- Building Links - We will create a series of Link Categories and place Links on your BLOG.
- Widget Management - We will add and remove Widgets to your BLOG's navigation (widget) column.
- Plugins - We will discuss Plugins and how to use them.
- Q&A - an open session designed to answer questions on materials covered, other systems, etc.
Additional materials covered will be Theme selection, Theme Modification, and integration of your BLOG with Twitter, Facebook and other social media systems.
When you leave this course you will have advanced knowledge and experience using the Wordpress BLOG system provided by NetOffer as part of our suite of marketing tools. You will be ready to build your own BLOG presence and you will know how to do so from both a functional and a conceptual perspective.
