FREE Basic Advertising
A Basic Listing on the Directory Search Engine is free. Basic Listings will be included in all Search Results but will be displayed after any Sponsored Advertisers are displayed. Basic Listing are presented in Random Order each time a search is performed.
SidebarAds Advertising
Sidebar Advertisements ("Sidebar Ads") are the text-base Advertisments that appear in the right column when a Search Results page is displayed. Sidebar Ads are purchased for a fixed fee based on a 30 Day Term.
Sidebar Ads are displayed in order of the $ amount spent for the 30 Day Term. Sidebar Ads that have a higher Bid Price are displayed first. If two Sidebar Ads have the same Bid Price for a 30 Day Term then the display sequence is based on Start Date with the earliest Start Date displayed first.
Sidebar Ads allow you to generate high visibility for your business without having to pay for clicks. Clicks through the Sidebar Ads can be directed to any destination URL that you desire.
Sidebar Ads are purchased for specific Search Terms. Search Terms are 'phrases' that must be matched perfectly to generate a display of your Sidebar Ad. This means that if you purchase the term "Home Builder" and someone searches for the term "Home Builders" your Sidebar Ad will not be displayed. You must specify exactly what Search Term phrase(s) that you want with one Phrase per Sidebar Ad.
If you purchase a Sidebar Ad that becomes less visible over time because other Vendors have purchased Sidebar Ads at higher prices and your Sidebar Ad has been pushed far down the page, the only option is to purchase a new Sidebar Ad at a higher price to gain better positioning. It is not possible to upgrade any Sidebar Ad during the 30 Day Term, however, once expired you may renew a Sidebar Ad at a higher 30 Day Term price to re-position the Sidebar Ad for better visibility.
Sponsored Advertisers
To be a Sponsored Advertiser you must upgrade your Free Listing to a Sponsored Advertiser listing with a minimum annual cost of $100. As a Sponsored Advertiser you may purchase as many Featured Vendor advertisements as you wish, limited to a maximum of one Featured Advertiser listing per Specific Search Term.
Sponsored Advertisers are always displayed at the top of the Vendor Search Results list in random order. That means that if there are 5 Sponsored Advertisers included in the Results List for a particular Specific Search Term those Sponsored Advertisers will be randomly presented each time the Results List is presented.
